Computer Lab

Hollywood Hill Elementary has several class sets of laptop computers and tablets that are stored in mobile carts and shared between classrooms. Students use MacBooks, Chromebooks, and iPads for research and learning in math, science, social studies, and language arts, as well as digital citizenship and computer skills.

If you have any questions or concerns about a website please talk to a teacher or parent. 

  • Do not give out any personal information.
  • Do not send or receive any emails.
  • Do not sign up for any website clubs at school.
  • Do not visit inappropriate sites.

 Dance Mat Typing is the online program used at school to teach keyboarding skills for kindergartners and 1st graders.  Learning to touch type helps students be more productive and better prepares them for success in school and beyond.

On Dance Mat Typing your child can practice and master the keyboard one lesson at a time.  It allows them to pick up where they left off in the course and displays a keyboard and hand diagram as they type to reinforce proper finger placement.

Students can access Dance Mat Typing from any computer (with an internet connection and current web browser).

Students will log in to Hollywood-hill.typingclub.com using the same username and password as they do at school.  Please contact your teacher at Hollywood Hill Elementary if your child does not remember the login credentials.

ABCYa - Online games from kids in K-5 sorted by grade level.  Games incorporate areas such as math and language arts while introducing basic computer skills.

 is a children's website that teaches basic English reading and writing skills,  The main demographic is preschoolers, kindergarteners, first and second grader.
